6.3 SERIAL RS422 / RS485 PORT (P3)
Port B of the 8530 is configured as a combination RS422 / RS485 port and is output from
the board with a RJ-45 jack. The port can be configured to communicate with many other
devices in a dedicated direct link as well as a multidrop link, depending on jumper settings.
