Define the static
IPv6 Address
and
MAC Address
fields.

Apply
. The IPv6 Neighbors entry is defined, and the device is updated.
To modify IPv6 Neighbor entries:
1.
Click
System > IPv6 Neighbors
. The
IPv6 Neighbors Page
opens.
2.
Select the
IPv6 Address
field to be edited.
3.
Click
Modify
. The
IPv6 Neighbor Configuration Page
opens.
Notes
•
Static IPv6 addresses require a MAC address whereas dynamic addresses are configured
automatically.
•
Selecting the Dynamic option in the Type field, disables the fields and prevents reselecting the Static
option.
4.
Define the
MAC Address
for the static IPv6 address.
5.
Click
Apply
. The IPv6 Neighbor entry is modified and the device is defined.
