Authentication —
Displays the method used to authenticate users. The possible field values are:

MD5 Key —
Users are authenticated using the HMAC-MD5 algorithm.
–
SHA Key —
Users are authenticated using the HMAC-SHA-96 authentication level.
–
MD5 Password —
The HMAC-MD5-96 password is used for authentication. The user should enter a
password.
–
SHA Password —
Users are authenticated using the HMAC-SHA-96 authentication level. The user
should enter a password.
–
None —
No user authentication is used.

Authentication Method
— Defines the SNMP
Authentication
method. The possible field values are:

MD5 Key
— Users are authenticated using the HMAC-MD5 algorithm.

— Users are authenticated using the HMAC-SHA-96 authentication level.

MD5 Password
— The HMAC-MD5-96 password is used for authentication. The user should enter a
password.

SHA Password
— Users are authenticated using the HMAC-SHA-96 authentication level. The user
should enter a password.

None
— No user authentication is used.

Password
— Define the local user password. Local user passwords can contain up to 42 characters for MD5
or 32 characters for SHA.
