58. Permanent Press Spin Extract
Speed “+058”
This option allows the owner to program the speed
of extraction during the Permanent Press cycle on
Variable Frequency Drive models (NCV, NRV, or
NXV) only.
How to Program Permanent Press Spin
Extract Speed
1. Control must be in Manual Mode. Refer to
Entering the Manual Mode.
2. Press the DELICATES (+) or the COLD (-)
keypad until “ PrOg ” appears in the VFD. Press
the START (enter) keypad and “ +001 ” will
appear in the VFD.

3. Press the DELICATES (+) or the COLD (-)
keypad to scroll through the programmable
options until “
+058
” appears in the VFD. Refer
to Figure 70.

4. When “
+058
” appears in the VFD, press the
START (enter) keypad. The current number set
for the Permanent Press Spin Extract Speed will
appear in the VFD.
Value of 0 = High Speed
Value of 1 = Very High Speed
NOTE: Very High Speed is available on Variable
Frequency Drive models (NRV) only.
5. Press the DELICATES (+) or the COLD (-)
keypad to increase or decrease the current
extraction speed displayed in the VFD to the
desired extraction speed. Refer to Figure 71.

6. Press the START (enter) keypad when the correct
number of minutes appears in the VFD. The next
option, “
+059
”, will appear in the VFD.
NOTE: To program “
+059
” (Permanent Press
Extracts On/Off), refer to option 59. To program
other options, refer to the appropriate section.
How to Exit Programming Feature
1. Be sure the control shows a programmable option,
not a value.
2. While pressing and holding the NORMAL
keypad with one hand, press the PERM PRESS
keypad with the other hand. The control will
revert back to the Ready Mode.
