Installing the Open Controller CPU Module
1747-OCF
The 1747-OCF CPU module includes a CompactFlash socket that supports
an optional, user-supplied type I or II CompactFlash card. You can also use
a type II, 1” IBM microdrive in the CompactFlash socket, in place of the
CompactFlash card. You can install one CompactFlash or one microdrive
onboard the 1747-OCF open controller CPU module.

Changing the LED mask
Important: When you receive your open controller CPU module, the LED
cover is installed upside down. This lets you remove the cover
and change the LED mask if you want. Once you install the
LED cover upright, you cannot remove the cover without
damaging it.
Refer to "Open Controller CPU Module LED Templates" on page A-8 for
information about producing your own LED mask.
