Modifying BIOS Settings
3. Activate the remote setup by holding down the space bar on the remote
PC while turning on or resetting the open controller.
When the BIOS sign-on message appears on the remote PC, release the
space bar.
4. Enter setup.
Once you enter setup, the keys may function differently than if you
entered setup from the open controller. In most cases, you should be able
to use the arrow keys to move between fields on the BIOS setup screens.
If you are unable to move around the screens using the arrow keys, Table
3.A describes alternate keys you can use.

Important: Note the following before exiting the remote BIOS setup:

1747-OCE:
The
[F10]
key doesn’t work during remote BIOS setup.
Use the direction keys to select the
Save Settings and
Exit
option from the main menu.
•
1747-OCF:
Always select the
Write to CMOS and Exit
option from
the main menu to exit remote BIOS setup. Using
[Esc]
or
selecting
Exit without changing CMOS
will cause a
system error.
