BIOS save utility

\bios\getcmos.exe

This utility saves the current BIOS settings to a file, which can later be restored to the same or
different open controller CPU module running the same version of BIOS. Refer to Saving BIOS
Settings on page 3-4 for
 more information.

I/O configuration utility

\scanner\ioconfig.exe

This utility creates I/O configuration files for the open controller, either in an offline mode or online
to the open controller. This utility runs under DOS or in a DOS shell under Windows 3.x or
Windows 95.

A version of

ioconfig.exe

that runs under Windows NT is available by contacting Rockwell

Automation Technical Support at 440-646-6800. You can also download a copy from the TSS
Bulletin Board using a modem at 440-646-5441.

remote connection utility

hostsvr.exe

This utility is a DOS program that makes the floppy drive of a remote PC connected to COM2 of
the open controller appear as the floppy drive on the open controller. Refer to Booting from a
remote PC through COM2 on page 4-5 f
or more information.
