NOTICE: General safety warning for the safe use of the machine.
- Below is provided a list of general safety standards for the most common operational
situations:
- respect the machine’s label indications;
- before starting work operations, make sure that nobody is performing cleaning or
maintenance operations upon the machine or in the danger zones;
- do not lubricate, repair or adjust parts in movement;
- all maintenance operations must be performed exclusively by authorized personnel and only
after having prepared the machine for maintenance (see chapter 7 “Maintenance”);
- Never open guards or fixed protection devices with the machine in motion.
ATTENTION:
It is absolutely forbidden to use the machine for any use other than that
which is expressly foreseen.
5.2.1
Working zones, command zones, danger zones
The zones around the machine are divided and identified as per figure 5-1.
WORKING ZONES: zones to which the driver and the other operators have free access and may
remain during normal machine function. From these zones the operator may:
- check the proper functioning of the machine;
- quickly intervene upon the command panel in case of necessity or emergency.
COMMAND ZONES: the zone in which the driver and the other operators may perform command and
control operations related to the machine’s clinical functions, both in manual and automatic mode, by
using the appropriate command panels.
DANGER ZONES: all of the machine’s internal zones.
Nobody is permitted access to these zones while the machine is in function.
ATTENTION:
The dangers and risks present in these zones are, as much as possible,
protected with safety devices. Nevertheless, when the machine is in function, it is
absolutely forbidden to access the indicated zones, even if the risks have been
eliminated or limited by the use of the appropriate protections.
ATTENTION: NOBODY IS PERMITTED TO BE IN THE DANGER ZONES WHILE THE
MACHINE IS IN FUNCTION.
The manufacturer has equipped the machine with active and passive safety devices in order to
guarantee safe operation. The machine can be prepared for maintenance by following the
subsequent, detailed instructions at the beginning of chapter 7 (“Maintenance”) of this manual.
