Machine units
The machine is constituted by the following units as indicated in fig. 2-2;
1) frame unit;
2) battery unit;
3) motor unit;
4) tray unit;
5) drive unit;
6) command console unit.
2.1.1.6
Command console unit
2.1.1.1 Frame unit
The frame unit is constituted by iron bars which have been welded together in such a way so as to
form the load-bearing part of the machine. The motor housing, with its relative connections to the
traction wheels, is located upon the frame. On the frontal portion of the frame are located: the turning
wheels, the battery lodging, the command console lodging and the plough-stilt drive system.
2.1.1.2 Battery unit
The battery unit, located underneath the command console, is composed of a 60ah battery which has
a charge-life of approximately 4 hours. The machine comes equipped with an external battery charger.
2.1.1.3 Motor unit
The motor unit, located in its appropriate lodging underneath the tray, is powered by the battery
through a control unit positioned within the command console.
2.1.1.4 Tray unit
The steel tray unit is attached to the frame with hinges which allow the operator to easily empty the
tray of product being transported.
2.1.1.5 Drive unit
The drive unit is composed of a plough-stilt drive system which is attached to the frame. The
movement and stopping commands can be found upon the drive unit.
2.1.1.6 Command console unit
The command console unit, located in front of the operator's driving position, allows the operator to
check the battery’s charge and to turn the machine on or off with the ignition key. The battery release,
for maintenance operations, can be found next to the console.
