INTENDED USE
2.3.1
Intended use and foreseen usage environments
2.3.1.1 Foreseen use
The
DTRAK 300
is an ecological vehicle with ground drive control and electric traction which can be
used for transporting inert materials in accordance with the product data contained within this manual’s
data sheet. The
DTRAK 300
, with the characteristics shown in table 2-1 of this manual, is suitable for
indoor and outdoor use. The machine may not be used in acidic or explosive environments nor in any
other environment which has not been expressly approved by the manufacturer.
All of the operating procedures such as loading and unloading can be performed by a single operator.
The machine and its accessories are designed and manufactured for safe operation under the
following conditions:
- usage within the prescribed limits;
- the operators must follow the procedures described in the instruction manual;
- the operators must respect the foreseen working conditions, paying special attention to:
- the total operational limits;
- the service coefficient (working hours per shift);
- environmental conditions (dust, temperature and humidity in the workplace).
2.3.1.2 Unintended use
It if FORBIDDEN to use the machine for transporting:
a) liquids of any kind, explosives, flammable materials, corrosive materials, etc.;
b) explosive materials, dynamite, fireworks etc. ;
c) people, animals;
It is FORBIDDEN to use the machine in environmental conditions such as:
a) in the presence of snow or ice;
b) low visibility;
c) slippery surfaces;
d) surfaces with inclines superior to those which are prescribed on the data label located on every
side of the machine;
e) constant wind;
f) rain and storms with risks of lightning.
ATTENTION: UNFORSEEN AND/OR IMPROPER AND/OR INCORRECT USE.
Using the machine with different materials or for the purpose of obtaining production
values superior to those which are indicated is considered “IMPROPER USE”.
Any ulterior employment of the machine must be authorized beforehand in writing by the
manufacturer. Without authorization, such employment is to be considered “improper use” and
therefore, in such cases, the Manufacturer shall bear no responsibility for any eventual damages to
people or objects and shall consider every type of warranty for the machine and for the devices
furnished as nullified.
