beat number, and tick number. (A beat is the timing value of the
lower half of the time signature. For example, in 4/4 time, a beat is
one quarter note.) In bar.beat.tick fields, you enter the three parts
separated by decimal points (.), followed by ENTER. For example, to
enter bar 1, beat 3 and tick 24, type 1, decimal point, 3, decimal
point, 24, ENTER. If you only want to enter the bar number, type it
followed by ENTER—The beat and tick portions will be reset to the
start of the bar.
