Operational Flow Chart
Heat Source is selected
from the interior switch
panel
Electric Element switch
is turned ON
Diesel burner switch is
turned ON
The diesel burner fi res,
transferring heat into
the antifreeze and water
coolant solution within
the Aqua-Hot boiler tank.
The electric element
energizes, transferring
heat into the antifreeze
and water coolant
solution within the Aqua-
Hot boiler tank.
The boiler tank heats to
190° F
Zone thermostat calls
for heat
The engine preheat
switch is moved to the
ON position
A hot water faucet is
opened, signaling to the
Aqua-Hot to generate
domestic hot water
Engine coolant is circulat-
ed through the Aqua-Hot’s
boiler tank, transferring
heat to the coach engine
The engine coolant is
circulated back to the
Aqua-Hot to be re-heated
Heat is transferred to the
domestic water system
The circulation
pump(s) activate if the
tank temperature is
above 150°F. Heated
antifreeze and water
solution is circulated
throughout the relevant
heating zone(s.)
Heat exchanger fans
activate, transferring
heat into the coach
interior
The now cooled
antifreeze and water
solution is recirculated
back to the boiler tank
of the Aqua-Hot to be
reheated.
