12.2.3.9 Base Heater
Heating element designed to melt any ice that is accumulated on the outdoor unit base during low
heating operation.
The base heater will be working only when RV is “ON” according to the following graph:

When OAT is faulty the base heater will be “ON” continuously in HEAT mode.
12.2.3.10 Cranckcase Heater
Heating element designed to heatup the compressor oil cranck case during low outdoor ambient
temeratures.
The crank case heater operates only when compressor is off and according to OAT and CTT as following:
