SETTING UP THE REGULATOR FOR OPERATION
Always use clean water to perform the adjustment.
1.
Calculate the necessary working speed
according to spray volume per hectare and
nozzle flow rate.
2.
Adjust the tractor RPM according to the
calculated working speed.
3.
Open all directional control valves (4) and the
mixing valve (3).
4.
Open the central valve.
5.
Adjust the operating pressure.
6.
Adjust the check valve on directional control
valves:
-
close the first directional control valve. The
operating pressure on the pressure gauge
will slightly change;
-
re-adjust the operating pressure by turning
the adjustment nut on the first valve and
-
follow the same procedure to adjust the other directional control valves.
7.
When the nozzle inserts are replaced, the check valves must be re-adjusted.
9.2
PR3 ECF PRESSURE REGULATOR
The PR3 ECF flow regulator was designed for remote adjustment of operating pressure on all types of
sprayers, both mounted and trailed sprayers, with an operating pressure range between 0 an a
maximum of 12 bar. The operating pressure of spraying with the regulator is controlled by REMOTE
CONTROL, which is used to control the electric actuators inside the central control assembly of the
regulator.
