7.
Refer to
. Measure A6J1-3 and A6J1-4; they should have a voltage of +12 Vdc.
•
If A6J1-3 and A6J1-4 have a voltage of +12 Vdc, replace the A6 AC-DC Inverter Interface Board.
•
If A6J1-3 and A6J1-4 do not have a voltage of +12 Vdc, go to
8.
Refer to
. Measure A3J6-3 and A3J6-4; they should have a voltage of +12 Vdc.
•
If A3J6-3 and A3J6-4 have a voltage of +12 Vdc, replace the W1 ribbon cable.
•
If A3J6-3 and A3J6-4 do not have a voltage of +12 Vdc, go to
9.
Refer to
. Measure A3J10-B16; it should have a voltage of +12 Vdc.
•
If A3J10-B16 has a voltage of +12 Vdc:
a.
Replace the A3 RF assembly.
b.
For N5183A instruments, go to
Chapter 4, "Post-Repair Procedures and Performance Verification"
.
•
If A3J10-B16 does not have a voltage of +3 Vdc, go to
“A1 Power Supply” on page 1-26
to troubleshoot the A1 Power Supply.
10. Refer to
. Using an oscilloscope, turn the RPG knob and measure A6J2-26 and A6J2-30. There should be a 4V square pulse.
If there is no 4V square pulse, replace the Keypad assembly.
