Editing mouse movement
Note:
To change the mouse pointer size for a mouse that has already been added, double-click it on the slide to open
the Mouse Properties dialog box.
Hiding the mouse pointer
You can show or hide the mouse pointer. Hiding the mouse is useful if you record a project and later decide the
mouse pointer is unnecessary or distracting.
You can hide the mouse pointer on an individual slide or in the entire project.
To hide the mouse pointer on an individual slide:

Open an Adobe Captivate project.

Open the slide you want in Edit view.

Do one of the following:
•
Select Slide > Mouse > Show Mouse.
•
Right-click the mouse and select Show Mouse from the menu.
The check mark to the left of the option is removed.
To hide the mouse pointer for the entire project:

Open an Adobe Captivate project.

Select Edit > Preferences.

In the Category panel, expand Project, and select Settings.

In the Visual and sound effects area, clear the option Include mouse when project is generated.
Enabling the mouse wheel
You can choose to enable mouse wheel movement to initiate full motion recording.
To enable the mouse wheel for recording:

Open an Adobe Captivate project.
