Connecting the controller to a PC
The controller is equipped with a Mini-USB interface for connection to a PC. This can only be used for
programming, configuring and for updating firmware.
You will need an additional board for logging and to do remote maintenance (see item 12.1, p. 35)
Be aware
The mini-USB interface does not establish a network.
A connection to the PC has the following advantages:

12.1 Connection cables, different types of connection
12.1.1 Connection via an Ethernet interface
In order to connect the controller to a PC via an Ethernet interface you will
need an Ethernet cable
(RJ45).
Furthermore the controller has to be fitted with a ZSL board
(expansion card
Ethernet)
(see Figure 13:
