1.4. Restoring Factory Defaults
e web Tool allows customization of the IP address, net mask, http port, user name, and
password. Should any of these settings be forgotten or setup incorrectly, communication with the
GR3 router may not be possible. In this event, the GR3 router can be restored to factory defaults
so that a known set of IP parameters is in effect.
2.1.4.1. IP and WiFi settings
To restore the IP host address, netmask, and, when applicable, the WiFi interface settings to
factory defaults use the following procedure:
• Reboot the GRouter3 device
• Wait until the

LEDs start flashing
• Hold down the button labeled "
SRV P1
" until the
Service
LED comes on and stays on
e GRouter3 device will now reboot. Once its completes rebooting access may be accomplished
using factory default settings for the IP and WiFi interfaces (when applicable).
2.1.4.2. Web user name, password, and http port
To restore the web user name, password, and http port settings to factory defaults use the
following procedure:
• Reboot the GRouter3 device
• Wait until the

• Hold down the button labeled
SRV App
until the
Service
LED comes on and stays on
e GRouter3 device will now reboot. Once its completes rebooting access may be accomplished
using factory default settings for the web user name, password, and http port.
2.1.4.3. All parameters
To restore all the parameters (IP, WiFi and web) to factory default settings use the following
procedure:
• Reboot the GRouter3 device
• Wait until the

• Hold down simultaneously the buttons labeled "
SRV P1
" and "
SRV P2
" until the

LED
comes on and stays on
e GRouter3 device will now reboot. Once its completes rebooting, access may be accomplished
using factory default settings for the IP address, netmask, WiFi interface and web user name,
password, and http port.

1.5. WiFi Connection to Windows XP
• Go to the network connections control panel. Right click
wireless connection
and select
properties
.
• Select the general tab. Set the IP address to one that is in the same subnet as the GRouter3’s
default IP of 10.0.2.40 with a subnet mask of 255.255.255.0. For example you could use
