Keypad Test
Perform the Keypad Test as follows:
NOTE: The Keypad Test is only used on the 8142.
SCREEN ACTION
1. When you press the Test button associated
with the LED Test, a Keypad Test screen is
displayed as shown. Within this screen you are
asked to Press all keys, one by one, in the
following order…
2. On the Keypad (not the touch screen) press
A, 1, 2, 3, B, 4, 5, 6, C, 7, 8, 9, D, *, 0, #, then
press the Done button on the Keypad Test
screen. As each key is pressed the
background for the corresponding graphically
displayed key changes to yellow.
NOTE: Pressing the Cancel button at any time
(even if several keys have been pressed)
returns the system to the "Diagnostics" screen.
