10. Select the AlarmNet-i ECP Address. Use
the same address that was entered during
panel programming in the How to Enable
Additional Symphony/Symphony-i Units in
Commercial Control
paragraph, step 14 in this
Section.
NOTE: The AlarmNet-i address will be
different than the Symphony/Symphony-i ECP
address. Select Device Reporting Priority as
Stand Alone or Secondary. This selection sets
the device priority for systems with multiple
LRR or AlarmNet-i enabled Symphony’s. If the
system has no other external communication
device, this option should be set to Stand
Alone, the default priority.
For duplicate reporting, set the priority to
Secondary” As a secondary device it reports
the alarms that are sent to the primary device
to the central station. If the primary device
loses communication with the panel, then
neither device can communicate.

For UL installations, dual
reporting is required (e.g. Internet
with dialer backup).

11. Old Alarm Time sets how long an
undeliverable alarm is retried for delivery to
AlarmNet. If the message is not validated, it is
retried until the old alarm time is reached or
the message is validated. The choices
available are: 10 Min., 15 Min., 30 Min., 1 Hr, 2
Hr, 4Hr, 8Hr, 12Hr, 24Hr.

For UL installations, Old Alarm
Time must be set to 10 Minutes.
Fault Time Enter in minutes 1 - 99 the time
delay before AlarmNet-i notifies the control
panel that there is loss of contact with the
network.
UL
For UL installations, Fault Time
must be set to 5 Minutes.
Account Supervision AlarmNet-i sends a
supervision message multiple times during the
supervision period. AlarmNet will transmit a
communications failure alarm to the central
station if the supervision message is not
received within the period.

enabled, the Symphony/Symphony-i will
