The CLI Setup wizard then prompts you to enter the values you prepared in
“Before You Begin” on page 34.
Note
Adaptec highly recommends that you record the values you enter during
this task and store them for future reference.

At the Hostname prompt, type a name for the iSCSI Storage Appliance, then
press
Enter
. Use alphanumeric characters, such as
Hostname
or
Hostname1
.

Type the network domain to which the iSCSI Storage Appliance belongs, then

Caution
To avoid permanent data loss,
do not
modify the default BIOS settings of
the RAID controller. To safely configure or modify the iSCSI Storage Appliance, use
either the CLI or Adaptec Storage Manager only.
