In the left pane of the
SANSurfer Manager,
select an HBA port,
click the Port Options
tab, and enter the
initiator information
(name/alias, IP
address, etc.).
Then click
Save Port
Settings
and provide
the password when
asked.

Use the ping function
to check connectivity
to the target. First
select the Diagnostic tab, then the Ping tab.

Enter the target IP
address and click
Start
testing
to ping the
target.

Once the target has
been pinned
successfully, select the
Target Settings tab to
add a target.
