The Temperature Sensor (RTD) is a device whose electrical resistance changes with changes in temperature

Testing

With Connector Plug disconnected, test for resistance across the two (2) Wires

@ 70°F (23.9°C) ≈ 1100 Ω

@ 350°F (176.7°C) ≈ 1650 Ω

Removal and Replacement

1  Disconnect oven from Power Supply
2  Remove Top Panel (see Panel Removal)
3  Disconnect Connector Plug
4  Remove two (2) 11/32” (9mm) Hex Nuts securing

Temperature Sensor to top of oven

5 Pull Temperature Sensor up and out to remove
6 To replace, reverse these steps
