Primary Interlock Switch
The Primary Interlock Switch is a safety device that opens its contacts when the door is opened. It is to first switch to
open when the door opens
Testing
Use Test Plug to check for continuity
Door Open
BU to RD = Continuity
Door Closed
BU to RD = Open
Removal and Replacement
1 Disconnect oven from Power Supply
2 Remove Top Panel (see Panel Removal)
3 Remove four (4) Screws securing Control Board
Mounting Bracket with 1/4” Socket or Phillips Head
Screwdriver, but do not disconnect Wiring Move Control
Board Assembly to provide access
4 Remove Wires from Switch
5 Remove two (2) Screws securing Primary Switch to
Mounting Bracket using 1/4” Socket or Phillips Head
Screwdriver
6 Replace with Kit (P/N 59174580)
7 Reverse these steps to complete replacement
