The priorities are ranked as follows:
•
Priority 1
A change in relay state caused by a manual override, either initiated locally or remotely, will
take the highest priority.
•
Priority 2
A change in relay state caused by a safety alert (such as tampering, excessive current, etc.)
is the next highest priority.
•
Priority 3
A change in relay state caused by funds being exhausted or added when the meter is
configured to manage connections based on prepaid funds is the next highest priority.
•
Priority 4
A change in relay state caused by exceeding the emergency supply capacity when the
network is in an emergency state is the next highest priority.
•
Priority 5
A change in relay state triggered by an Under Frequency Load Shedding (UFLS) condition is
the next highest priority.
•
Priority 6
A change in relay state caused by a supply capacity/power usage condition is the next
highest priority.
A change in relay state caused by a supply schedule is the lowest priority.
If a supply disconnect/reconnect action is currently taking place when another supply
disconnect/reconnect action is invoked, the meter will ignore the new action unless it has a
higher priority than the current action.
4.3 Scheduled Disconnection/Reconnection
The SGM3000 Series meters support disconnection and reconnection of all relays on a
schedule. A common approach to schedule management will apply to the supply
disconnect/reconnection functionality and to the auxiliary load control functionality.
The SGM3000 Series meters support a definition of a series of relay state change instructions
for changing the state of any of the meter relays on a schedule.
The schedule functionality will apply to the main supply relay and to auxiliary load control
relay(s). All time entries for scheduled state changes of the meter relays will be in 15 minute
increments. There can be 60 relay state changes defined, based on a schedule for all relays
combined.
There is no restriction on how many scheduled events are programmed for any individual relay,
as long the total does not exceed 60.
