7.2.3.3 LCD Current Status
The four arrows represent the current flow of the meter. The current flow of the meter is
portrayed as follows:
•
The horizontal arrows

indicate the direction of the flow of active energy.
When

is illuminated, energy is being consumed from the grid.
When
←
is illuminated, energy is being generated at the premise and received by the
network.
•
The vertical arrows
(
↑↓
)
indicate the presence of reactive energy.
When
↑
is illuminated, there is a lagging condition.
When
↓
is illuminated, there is a leading condition.

7.2.3.4 LCD Numeric Data Values
The numeric display provides seven full digits for numeric and alphanumeric display.
•
Data values with up to three decimal places are supported.
•
Colons are used to separate date and time elements.

7.2.3.5 LCD Units and Currency Status
When the data value is an energy related quantity (for example, kW), the units of the displayed
value will be illuminated.
If the data value is a financial value, the relevant currency symbol will be illuminated.

7.2.3.6 LCD Data Identifier
This three digit identifier is used to identify the data value of the selectable data item being
displayed.
