There are three methods of networking Eurofires and Repeaters together:- 

- Star. 
- 

Isostar   - 

This is Isolated Star connection, using a network isolator card 

- 

DualStar - 

This configuration, requires a network isolator card. 
With the DualStar, the network is wired as both Star and Isostar.   Should a fault  
occur on any one set of the wiring, the network will still operate using the other
