Setting up name entries in the IP touch 5" outdoor station
6.9.1
Introduction
The name entries must be added or changed for the outdoor stations with display after the
actual commissioning of the system or later during the running operation. This can be
performed centrally and easily via the "Smart Access Point".
Overview:
Next the first indoor stations of each unit are named.
■
The names are already known:
– The first indoor stations of each unit are assigned with the respectively already known
name.
■
The names are nor yet known
– The naming of the first indoor stations is skipped. In this case the indoor stations retain
their system name and are renamed later.
Then the names are imported as a list in the the outdoor station with display.
– If the names were already known, they are imported.
– If the names were not known, the system names of the indoor station are imported and
serve as placeholders for the later renaming.
Notice
The sequence of the display is always alphabetical. Here the first names are
displayed first.
– If surnames are to be displayed first, change the first and surnames during
entry in the fields provided.
6.9.2
Adding name entries
To add the name entries, perform the following steps:
1. Connect a PC with the "Smart Access Point".

2. Navigate to the "Door communication" function.
– Call up the main menu, if it is not yet displayed.
– Switch to door communication.
Step 1: Naming the indoor station
Skip this step if the name entries are not yet known.
