Changes the cost of a network port or ports on paths to the STP root
bridge for a specific VLAN on a wireless LAN switch.

— List of ports. MSS applies the cost change to all the
specified ports.

Numeric value. You can specify a value from 1 through
65,535. STP selects lower-cost paths over higher-cost paths.
all
— Changes the cost on all VLANs.
vlan
vlan-id
—
VLAN name or number. MSS changes the cost on
only the specified VLAN.
Defaults
— The default port cost depends on the port speed and link
type. (See Table 68 on page 393.)
Access
— Enabled.

—Introduced in MSS Version 3.0.
Examples
— The following command changes the cost on ports 3 and 4
to 20 in VLAN
