Check that the word Ready appears in the ISDN BRI Span List line item
that corresponds to this span.

To modify the Span, highlight it in the
Span List
and click the
Modify
button immediately below the Span List.

To change the name of the span, edit the Span Name field. You can use
alphanumeric characters, dashes, and underscores. The maximum name
length is 30 characters.

In the
Co Switch Protocol
pull-down list, there is only one protocol, ETSI.

Choose either automatic or manual TEI assignment depending on the
characteristics of the BRI line. If your telephone carrier has supplied you
with a specific
Terminal Endpoint Identification
number, uncheck the
Automatic TEI Assignment
check box. Otherwise, check that box.

Click the
On Line
check box in the lower left corner of the window.

OK
.
