There are three different Digital Line Cards, each of which supports 
different protocols:

Adding a T1 Digital 
Line Card

Adding a T1 Digital Line Card to an NBX 100 chassis requires:

■

Preparation (ordering the T1 line and preparing the NBX 100)

■

Inserting the T1 Digital Line Card in the NBX 100 chassis

■

Configuring the T1 Digital Line Card parameters

Preparation

Before you insert the T1 Digital Line Card into the NBX 100 chassis, 
perform these steps:

1

Order a T1 line, with the specifications you want, from your telephone 
carrier, and have them install the line.

Login to NetSet as Administrator.

In the NetSet Main Menu, click the 

System Configuration

 icon.

In the System Configuration screen, click the 

System Settings

 tab.

Depending on how you access this screen, the 

System Settings

 tab may 

be already selected.

Click the 

Auto Discover Digital Line Cards

 check box.

It does not matter if any of the other check boxes are selected or not 
selected.

Click 

OK
