System view
Parameter
tag
: Name of an IS-IS routing process, consisting of no more than 128 characters. Its
length can be 0, that is, the
tag
argument can be null.
Description
Use the
isis
command to start a corresponding IS-IS routing process and enter the
IS-IS view.
Use the
undo isis
command to delete the specified IS-IS routing process.
IS-IS routing processes are disabled by default.
Before running IS-IS protocol normally, you must first use the
isis
command to enable
IS-IS process, then use the
network-entity
command to configure a network entity
title (NET) for the router, and then use the
isis enable
command to enable each
interface that need to run the IS-IS process.
Note:
Only one IS-IS routing process can be enabled on a router.

# Start the IS-IS routing process, with the system ID as 0000.0000.0002, and area ID
