The group name which the SNMP user name belongs to
Engine ID
The character string identifying the SNMP device
Storage-type
Storage type of SNMP information, including volatile,
nonVolatile, permanent, readOnly and other.
UserStatus
SNMP user status

undo enable snmp trap updown

Description
Use the
enable snmp trap updown
command to enable the sending of port/interface
linkUp and linkDown traps.
Use the
undo enable snmp trap updown
command to disable the sending of linkUp
and linkDown traps.
By default, the sending of port/interface linkUp and linkDown traps is enabled.
The
enable snmp trap updown
and
snmp-agent trap enable
,
snmp-agent
target-host
commands are used at the same time. You can use the
snmp
-
agent
target
-
host
command to specify the hosts that can receive Trap information. To send
Trap information, you must configure at least one
snmp
-
agent target
-
host
command.
Example
# Enable the port Ethernet 6/0/1 to send linkUp and linkDown SNMP traps, using the
community name “public” to the NMS whose IP address is 10.1.1.1.
