Insert the
Installation CD
in the CD-ROM drive and wait for the setup program to
start automatically. If the auto-start feature is disabled on your machine, click
Start>Run
and type
d:\setup.exe
(where d: is your CD-ROM drive).

From the 3Com PC Card Installer menu, select the function you want to perform
.
Check with your network administrator about whether to install other utilities
included with the LAN card.
Opening the User
Guide
After the
User Guide
has been installed, to start it in your browser:

Programs
.

Making Your Own
Installation Diskettes
To make your own installation disks from the
Installation CD
, format one diskette
and label it
3Com 10/100 LAN PC Card Installation.
To create an
Installation
diskette:

Insert the
Installation CD
in the CD-ROM drive (for example, Drive D) and wait for
the auto start feature to start the installation. If the auto-start feature is disabled
on your machine, click
Start>Run
and type
d:\setup.exe
(where d: is your CD-ROM
drive).

From the 3Com PC Card Installer menu, select
CD Utilities
.

Select
Create Diskettes
.

Follow the prompts that appear in DiskFactory.
