NetAtlas EPON Manager User’s Guide

3.6 Common EMS Command Buttons

The following table shows common command buttons found on most EMS screens.

Maintenance

Device/Port Reset

Select this to reboot a device, reset a card or reset an ONU.

Load Default

Configuration

Select this to reset a device back to the factory default settings.

Firmware Upgrade

Select this to perform a device firmware upgrade.

ONU Firmware

Upgrade

Select this to perform an ONU firmware upgrade.

Device

Backup and Restore

Select this to back up or restore device configuration.

Scheduled Device

Configuration

Backup

Select this when you want to configure a schedule to back up a
device configuration file.

Select this when you want to configure a schedule to restore a
device configuration file.

Select this when you want to configure a schedule to perform
firmware upgrade on a device.

Telnet

Select this to go to a screen where you can access a device

Select this to go to a screen where you can ping a device directly
through the EMS.

Select this to go to a screen where you can perform a trace
route.

Help

About

This link takes you to a screen where you can view the current
version number of the EMS.

This link takes you to a screen where you can register the EMS
to extend the service with a license key.
