10.5 Device Configuration Backup and Restore

Use this screen to backup your device configuration files to your computer and to
restore your configuration files to the devices. To access this screen click
Maintenance > Device Configuration Backup and Restore.

The following table describes the labels in this screen.

Table 62

Maintenance > Device Configuration Backup and Restore

LABEL

DESCRIPTION

Device Type

Select from the drop-down list box the type of devices you wish to
display in the table below.

Device Name

Select the device you wish to back up or restore the configuration
file. You can select multiple devices.

Search Device...

Click the Search Device... button to find or locate a device (or
node). See

Section 3.9.3.1 on page 56

for more details.

Add

Click Add to add the selected devices you wish to back up or restore
the configuration file. The devices will be added to the device table
on the right.

Remove

Click Remove to delete any selected devices from the table on the
right. This means their configuration files will not be backed up or
restored.

Operation

Select Backup to transfer the configuration file from your device to
a computer.

Select Restore to transfer the configuration file from your computer
to a device.
