20.4  MAC Authentication

MAC authentication works in a very similar way to IEEE 802.1x authentication. 
The main difference is that the OLT does not prompt the client for login 
credentials. The login credentials are based on the source MAC address of the 
client connecting to a port on the OLT along with a password configured 
specifically for MAC authentication on the OLT.     

To open the following screen, right-click on the OLT in the Device List Panel, and 
click Configuration > Advanced Configuration > MAC Auth. Then select a 
device and the port to which you want to apply this configuration.

Click Apply to save your changes.

Copy to...

Click the Copy to.. button to copy the configuration from the 
device that you are currently configuring to other device(s) of the 
same model. 

Close

Click Close to exit this screen.
