Chapter 15 Multicast Configuration

A screen displays as shown. The Index field displays the index number of this
entry. Select Active to enable this multicast group setting.

In the Start IP Address field, enter the starting IP multicast address of the
multicast group in dotted decimal notation.

In the End IP Address field, enter the ending IP multicast address of the
multicast group in dotted decimal notation.

Enter the same IP address as the Start IP Address field if you want to configure
only one IP address for a multicast group.

In the Mode field, select Allowed to admit the ports to join the specified
multicast group. Otherwise, select Denied to prohibit the ports from joining this
multicast group.

Click OK to save the settings and close this screen. Otherwise, click Cancel to
discard the settings and close this screen.

A screen displays showing the configuration result. Click Close to exit the screen.

15.6 IGMP Snooping VLAN

Use this screen to set which VLANs the switch performs IGMP snooping upon. You
can have it use IGMP snooping on any VLANs or just ones that you specify.
