10.4 ONU Firmware Upgrade

Note: Do NOT turn off the device during the updating process, as it may corrupt the

firmware and make the selected device unusable.

The following table describes the labels in this screen.

Maintenance > ONU Firmware Upgrade

LABEL

DESCRIPTION

Device

Select the type of devices that you wish to upgrade the firmware for the
ONU(s) connected to.

Search
Device...

Click the Search Device... button to find or locate a device (or node).
See

Section 3.9.3.1 on page 56

for more details.

Slot/Port

This field displays the slot number and the port number on the card in
this slot.

MAC Address

This field displays the MAC address of the ONU connected to the port.
Select the ONUs that you wish to upgrade.

ONU Name

This field displays the name assigned to the ONU connected to the port.

F/W Version

This field displays the current firmware version of the ONU.

Add

Click Add to add the selected ONUs you wish to upgrade. The ONUs will
be added to the device table on the right.

Remove

Click Remove to remove any selected ONUs from the table on the
right. This means they will not be upgraded.

Slot/Port

This field displays the slot number and the number of the port to which
the ONUs are connected.

MAC Address

This field displays the MAC address of the ONU connected to the port.

ONU Name

This field displays the name assigned to the ONUs.

Click OK to upgrade the added devices. A screen displasy asking you to
confirm that you want to upgrade the firmware, click OK.

Cancel

Click Cancel to exit the screen without saving any changes.
