The EMS Main Window

This chapter describes the EMS main window.

4.1 Introducing the EMS Main Window

Double-click the IES-1000 device icon in the SNMPc View Window area to display the IES-1000 EMS GUI
(shown next). The EMS retrieves management information from the IES-1000 using the SNMP protocol.

4.1.1

ADSL LEDs and Ports

The EMS main window displays the current status of the ADSL ports and LEDs. The panel display refreshes
every 10 seconds.

ADSL LEDs

ADSL LEDs indicate the operational status of corresponding ADSL ports. If an ADSL port is enabled, the
corresponding LED turns bright green. If an ADSL port is disabled, the corresponding LED turns off (dark green).

Select (double-click) a port to display information about it. For more detailed information, refer to section

.You may select any of the ADSL ports or the Ethernet (LAN) port.
