EMS Installation  

EMS installation information in condensed printed format is also in your Quick Installation Guide. 

3.1 System Requirements 

These are the minimum system requirements. 

Table 3-1 Minimum System Requirements 

HARDWARE

CPU: Intel Pentium III or better 

Operating System: Microsoft Windows 2000 (with service pack 1) or Windows NT 4 
(with service pack 5). 

Memory (RAM): 256MB or more 

Database Program: Microsoft Access 97/2000 

Hard Disk free space: 500MB or 
more 

Castle Rock’s SNMPc 5.1 Enterprise or Workgroup edition 

Screen Resolution: 1024x768 
pixels 

 

Ethernet Adaptor: 10/100 Mbps  

 

3.2 Installing NetAtlas 

1. 

Install the SNMPc if it is not already installed. 

2. 

Close all open applications before you begin the installation. Find and double-click 

EMSAAM1008_S110.exe

 on your EMS CD.
