The Configuration Menus

Use the

Configuration

menus to view system information, ADSL line settings/status, a range of

network configuration screens and subscriber management.

7.1 System Information

For details on information formats see

Chapter 5

To view system information, click

Configuration

and then

System Info.

The following screen displays system information.

The following table describes fields shown in the previous figure.

FIELD

DESCRIPTION

Descr

This field contains a description of the device in printable ASCII characters.

ObjectID

ObjectID identifies the network management subsystem. This value is allocated within the SMI
enterprises sub tree (1.3.6.1.4.1) and provides an easy and sure way to know what is being
managed.

UpTime

This is the time since the network management portion of the system was last re-initialized.

Contact

This field identifies the contact person for this managed node.

Name

This is the name for this managed node. It is the node's fully qualified domain name by convention.

Location

This is the physical location of this node.
