Open the light source housing cover. Loosen the two holding screws (53.1) on the W
lamp socket and remove the halogen lamp holder (W) .
Replace the halogen lamp with a new one. Clean the surface of the W lamp with a clean
cloth dampened with alcohol.
Insert the halogen lamp into the halogen lamp socket in the light source housing and
tighten the two holding screws (53.1).
If the performance of the instrument changes greatly after the replacement, the height
of W lamp should be adjusted (the horizontal position of W lamp is adjusted automati-
cally when the self-testing is done
upon switching on the power.). The
adjusting procedure is as follows:
a) Remove the halogen lamp holder.
b) Loosen the three screws (53.2) on
the halogen lamp holder with a watch
screwdriver.
c) Adjust the height of W lamp.
d) Tighten the three screws (53.2).
e) Insert the halogen lamp holder
back to the socket.
Replacement of the D2 lamp
The D2 lamp is plugged in the D2 lamp socket.
Open the light source housing cover. Remove the D2 lamp (53.D).
Replace it by a new D2 lamp. Clean the surface of D2 lamp with a clean cloth dampe-
ned with alcohol.
Insert the D2 lamp into its socket.
Note:
The light beam window should be facing the reflective mirror (53.G).
ATTENTION!
Both lamps and lamp holder are considerably heated during operation. Therefore, be sure
to turn off the power switch so as to cool down the lamp sufficiently before replacing it
The reflective mirror (53.G) should be covered with a paper bag to avoid being conta-
minated by fingers.
