TECHNICAL CHARACTERISTICS AND MACHINE OPERATING PRINCIPLE

Zhermack designs and manufactures work instruments that provide cutting-edge technology and

first-rate quality. They are specially designed to provide made-to-measure solutions that offer long-

lasting performance every single day of their working life.

In making these products Zhermack makes use of the latest design tools, thus ensuring that all

finished machine is as functional as possible. Use of only top-quality materials and thorough testing

aimed at providing maximum user safety are an Zhermack constant, making our products safe and

internationally competitive.

SATOVAC vacuum pumps are rotary vane pumps, lubricated by an oil injection system.

Connection to adjoining units is direct and does not require the interposition of couplings, thus

providing maximum compactness.

The intake fitting incorporates a filter to prevent foreign objects being aspirated and a check valve to

stop any oil backflow.

SATOVAC vacuum pumps are also equipped with a ballast valve which allows purification of the oil in

the event that condensable vapours need to be or have been aspirated.

The pump interior also features an overheating safety device: this trips at 130°C to stop the pump from

seizing and to protect it if the motor fails to work, if power levels are too high/low, if there is an

overload etc.

SATOVAC vacuum pumps can be handled manually or installed on other machine items or frames; in

the latter case the pump must be secured in compliance with legal standards.
