Installation Instructions
Installing the Kegerator
The Zephyr Kegerator & Beverage Cooler can be set up for multiple configurations. To convert the
unit to a full beverage cooler, purchase the accessory, PRKSHLF-02BG, and see page 30 for more
information. If you plan on using the kegerator for perishable foods, the temperature should be set to
40°F (4.5°C) or lower.
If you intend to use the kegerator to dispense beer, purchase the appropriate single, double, or
triple tap kit for your desired configuration. The Zephyr tap kit will include everything needed to get
started, including the tap tower, tap(s), beer line(s), gas line(s), D-style keg coupler(s), regulator, and
CO₂ tank.
NOTE:
The CO₂ tank will arrive empty and needs to be filled with CO₂ gas. Contact your local
welding supply, sporting goods, or home brew shop for assistance.
For built-in installation instructions, skip to page 25.
The illustration below (FIG. A) shows the installation of a freestanding kegerator with a single tap
kit (PRKFK-01SSC). Illustrations for double and triple tap kits are available on pages 23 and 24. A
detailed list of materials is included with each tap kit.
1. Remove all shelving and packaged components
from the interior of the kegerator before
proceeding. The kegerator can be plugged in,
but ensure it is powered off before proceeding.
2. Remove the black plastic insulation cap from
the top of the kegerator (FIG. A1).
NOTE:
If you are setting up the kegerator as a full
beverage cooler, leave the insulation cap installed.
3. Place the black rubber gasket, included with
the tap kit, on top of the kegerator and align
the gasket with the screw holes (FIG. A2).
4. Guide the beer line through the opening on top
of the kegerator. Secure the tap tower to the
kegerator using the included (4) M5 x 16 screws
(FIG. A3).
NOTE:
If you are installing a double or triple tap,
apply the included “Left Tap Label” and “Right
Tap Label” stickers to the relevant beer lines before
mounting the tower.
