Fault remedy
The ZEISS VISUSCOUT 100 will display error messages about the limitations
of the usage. Error message is always displayed with explanatory message
providing information about possible actions.
List of the all possible error messages:

What to do:
Memory full
Memory is full and you must empty memory card.
Optics type not
detected
Contact Customer Service if lens does not connect.
Optic failure #
Restart camera. Contact maintenance if same error
happens again. The number after text “Optic failure” is an
error code that can be needed by the Carl Zeiss Meditec
Customer Service team.
Image storage not
found
Please contact Customer Service if image storage is not
found.
Battery error
Battery is either not well in place or has been damaged.
Try to reattach battery or change it to a new one.
Low battery.
Please charge.
Powering down.
Charge battery or change it to a new one.
Patient list upload
failed.
Check patient list to ensure that there are no errors in the
list.
Patient has
maximum
number of
folders.
Patient name can be linked to maximum 5 folders. It is
possible to release old folders if certain patient needs new
folders.
Failed to access
image memory
Erasing image memory might help
Previous startup
did not finish
successfully
Erasing image memory might help.
If the malfunction cannot be rectified, contact your dealer or the
Carl Zeiss customer service (contact details see reverse).
