The right imaging distance is about 2 cm (0,8 inch). Eye cup must be
compressed approximately halfway down. Aim help circle on the display
guides to take image once it turns from red to green.
The camera is stabilized
by keeping the outer side of the hand against the
patient’s forehead. An example of the correct usage position is shown below:

A still image is captured by pressing the shutter key all the way down. Video
is captured by keeping shutter down. Taken image is displayed on screen until
user clears the image by pressing shutter key or left /right soft key. Image can
be zoomed in instant preview by pressing middle key. There are 4 zoom
levels. Pressing middle key activates the next level. Move around the image
by using navigation key.

Once an image is captured the user has to select which eye has been imaged
by pressing left or right soft key (OD/OS).

If multiple patients are examined during one session, new file folder is
created for each patient by pressing middle key for over 3 seconds.

Transfer images to a PC after capturing images. When VISUSCOUT 100
Client is open, images are transferred via USB connection to the PC
automatically when automatic image transfer is activated in Client settings
and the camera is placed to the cradle, or if a WIFI connection is active,
images are automatically transferred wirelessly to the PC. VISUSCOUT 100
also works as any other digital camera.

To erase the image/video manually, choose Menu, then Preview Images.
There will be an option to erase a specific image or a specific folder.

There are 4 zoom levels for image preview (instant review and image
browser): 1x, 2x, 4x and 8x.
