Hair
BABY born® Sister comes with soft, high-quality hair which can be washed in lukewarm
water (up to 37°C). If you apply a standard fabric softener after washing, the hair will be
easier to comb and reduces the loss of hair. Let the damp hair air dry.
Suggestions
Divide the hair into sections and brush thoroughly in small sections starting from the bottom
up. This will help to avoid knots and tangles.
Important!
BABY born® Sister’s hair is made from nylon threads and should not be exposed to heat
e.g. hot water, hot air from a hairdryer or a hot curling iron. Do not tint or colour the hair.
Hair lacquer, hair spray, mousse and gel should not be used.
Drinking and crying
BABY born® Sister can really drink and cry. Fill the included bottle with fresh tap water.
Please hold BABY born® Sister in upright position to feed her the bottle. It is not recom-
mended to use anything but water. All other liquids may block the tubes and tanks inside
the doll. The drinking cap needs tob be screwed on tightly. To feed the doll insert the tip of
the bottle thoroughly into the doll’s mouth. BABY born® Sister can drink about 2/3 of the
bottle by pressing both sides of the bottle gently.
BABY born® Sister can cry real tears by effectually pressing the right arm several times.
Bathing
BABY born® Sister can take a bath in the bathtub or can be taken to the swimming pool.
However, she should not be pushed under water. Do not leave Baby born® Sister unat-
tended in direct sunlight for an extended period of time (max. 1 hour).
Please make sure to close the screw cap on BABY born® Sister’s back (slot of the screw
cap in vertical position) before bathing. Only use cold or lukewarm water for bathing as well
as common bath additives suitable for children. Don’t leave BABY born® Sister longer than
one hour in tub water, chlorine or salt water otherwise chemical reactions and bleaching
may occur. Rinse BABY born® Sister (including hair) with tap water after each bath.
If water penetrates the doll during bathing, you can dry BABY born® Sister as follows: Use
a screw driver or a coin to carefully unscrew the screw cap (counter clockwise) on BABY
born® Sister’s back and pull out the screw cap a bit. It cannot be taken off completely! The
water can be removed by carefully shaking the doll back and forth (with the back facing
down). Repeat several times. If necessary, vent the doll with open screw cap for several
hours to let the residual moisture escape. After drying, close the screw cap clockwise.
Important
1. BABY born® Sister cannot be used as a floating device.
2. Do not use any cosmetics or skin care products on BABY born® Sister.
3. Please make sure that the hair of the doll is dried well after bathing.
Cleaning BABY born® Sister
Clean any external staining or dirt with a damp cloth and customary dish detergents.
