3. PREPARATION for OPERATION

Operation mode

Two types as follows are available.

Measurement mode

Steady-state operation takes place.

Maintenance mode

Perform maintenance in this mode. Be sure to turn to this mode before starting calibration or

maintenance.
To switch to Maintenance mode, Main screen > Maintenance mode OFF > ON
(or Sensor menu > Maintenance > Maintenance mode)

Operation in Maintenance mode

Sensor menu > Maintenance > Valve. Pump

To initialize Valve, turn off the maintenance mode.

Piping and Wiring Check

Confirm that the piping and wiring have been completed correctly before supplying water or power.

Refer to the chapter 2 for Installation and piping.

3.2

Confirming detector condition

Ensure that the drain cock is firmly closed. Open the front cover and set a new desiccant. Close

the cover firmly.

3.3

Supplying Power and switching operation mode

Confirm that the piping and wiring are made correctly. Turn on the power supply then the detector

starts up in a measurement mode. Keep On the Maintenance Mode until the preparation for the

operation completes. Turn on

on Main screen of the converter to go to Maintenance mode.

when the “-U1” (Oscillator for ultrasonic cleaning) is selected, the ultrasonic cleaning is ON when

the instrument starts up. Keep the ultrasonic OFF until a sample is introduced.
