Customizing Your Phone

configured. A new text message can also be viewed and
deleted.

Function Keys: The function keys are locked. You cannot use the MESSAGE, RD,

CONF, HOLD, MUTE, TRAN, OK, X, navigation keys, soft keys, line
keys and memory keys until unlocked.

All Keys: All keys are locked, except the Volume key. You are only allowed

to dial emergency numbers, reject incoming calls by pressing the
X key, answer incoming calls by lifting the handset, pressing the
Speakerphone key, pressing the HEADSET key or pressing the OK
key and place an active call on hold by pressing the Hold soft
key or the HOLD key.

Lock&Answer: All keys are locked, except the Menu soft key, the HEADSET key

and the Volume key. Incoming calls will be answered
automatically, but cannot be ended by your party. The previous
conversation is placed on hold.

Note

To set the keypad lock PIN via phone user interface:

1.

Press Menu->Setting->Basic Settings->Phone Unlock PIN.

2.

Enter the Current PIN, New PIN and Confirm PIN in the corresponding fields.

3.

Press the Save soft key to accept the setting or the Back soft key to cancel.

Note

The emergency number setting, if desired, must be made before lock activation.

The PIN code can only be 0 ~9, and not more than 15 characters.
